^{Gents - Congratulations go to Steve Allan who won the Gents Championship at the 36th Hole.}

^{Ladies - Congratulations also go to Sara McCorkell the 2008 Ladies Champion. This is Sara's 3rd championship in a row.}

^{Under 15's Junior - Further congratulation goes to Graham Young, winning the under 15 Junior Championship.}

^{Congratulations to Gary Hopkirk who won the Jack Gardner 72 Hole Tournament and to Graeme Maitland who won the Malcolm Thomson Trophy also over 72 Holes.}

Congratulations to Robbie McPhail who on Sunday 24th August won the East Renfrewshire Cup, The first member of the club in over fifty years to do so.

The Williamwood Team of Dennis Blackbourn, Donald Galt, David Illingworth and Robbie McPhail finished runners up, losing the Team Prize to a better back nine. 

A special congratulations to the Ladies Greenlees Team who won the 3rd division title this week and were promoted to the second division.  

Congratulations to the Junior Under 15's Team who by defeating Bishopbriggs Under 15's have qualified for the Finals.

Congratulations to all who participated in our Junior Week especially to the following.

Junior - Seniors Winners -  George Burns & Russell Gourlay

Junior Player of the Year - Fraser Davren.

Most Promising Newcomer - Jamie Lewis

A special thanks to Gordon Buchanan (Junior Convenor), Glen Ballantyne and Walter Burns for giving up their time to make this event so successful.

Congratulations to the Renfrewshire County Team that included our own Sara McCorkell, they were awarded the F.J. Morison Trophy as runners-up at the Scottish County Finals at Banchory.
