- Members can hire the clubhouse for private functions such as anniversaries, birthday parties, graduations etc and we can arrange daytime conference facilities.
- Reciprocal golf - Members can take advantage of reciprocal golf at reduced rates. As members of the Association of James Braid courses, members may play at other James Braid clubs by arrangement. We are also members of the 1906 Club which was formed by a group of clubs, all celebrating their Centenary in 2006. 1906 clubs offer reciprocal courtesy of the course to visiting members from other 1906 clubs.
- Membership categories: Applicants for Membership may apply for the following categories -
- Ordinary Member - this category is open to Gentlemen and Ladies and offers unrestricted playing facilities all year round and full voting rights.
- Youth Membership Aged 18 to 23
- Youth Membership aged 24 to 29
- Junior Membership Reduced to £75 for second child
- Pre-Junior Member - this category is available to boys and girls from 8 yrs. Pre-junior members have the same playing rights as juniors but must be accompanied by an adult member.
- Social Member - Available on application to the Club.
Membership at Williamwood is currently open to all categories. We have a membership of over 700 members including a very active Ladies Section and Junior Members who have represented Scotland at under 16 level. If you are interested in joining a golf club we can offer a very competitive membership package. The clubhouse boasts excellent catering facilities and members can enjoy the tempting and varied menu provided by the Rosette Rated Chef. Snacks and lunches are available throughout the day and a comfortable private dining room is available for evenings and special occasions.
"If you would simply like to enjoy the facilities of the clubhouse and bar we also have a Social Membership category available. The club runs a very successful social calendar throughout the year including such events as Games nights, Quizzes, Burns Suppers, Gourmet evenings, and dance/buffet entertainment."
